Carrara Marble Tour

For 2000 years the marble has been collected around the Tuscan town of Carrara, settled on the foothills of the Apuan Alpes. With cometosee.it visit the stunning white marble quarries of Carrara and walk through abandoned marble caves in the beautiful Apuan Alps. For lunch we will settle in Colonnata, a tiny village sandwiched between mountains near the marble town of Carrara. In an original trattoria we will be spoiled with excellent regional wine, wonderful dishes of Italian antipasti and the famous delicious Lard of Colonnata.
