The region Veneto is located in the North East of Italy and extends from the Dolomites to the Adriatic Sea. The capital of this region is the wonderful, world famous lagoon city Venice. This city is part of the UNESCO world heritage and is known for its gondolas, the Grand Canal, Saint Mark’s Square and all its little alleys and impressing bridges. Also the famous carnival of Venice turns the city into one of the most popular destinations in Italy.
