Milan is getting ready for the event of the year – in May the EXPO 2015 opens its doors

Every year Milan attracts foreign visitors for congresses, events or just to visit.  The northern Italian city is the second largest city in Italy and without doubt Italys leading city for the media and fashion industry. It is also the capital city of Italy for fairs and congresses. Milan provides an excellent traffic network as well as an excellent range of quality hotels and venues for corporate events.

From 1 May to 31 October 2015, Milan will host the world exhibition EXPO, which this year has the theme “Feeding The Planet – Energy For Life”.

During Expo a total of 148 nations and organizations will present their ideas in line with the motto of the EXPO.

A very special highlight – matching the theme of the World Exhibition “Feeding The Planet – Energy For Life” –  is the Pavilion of the Future Food District

The Pavilion of the Future Food District – built on an area of 6.500 m² – deals with food and eating habits for the future. It attempts to provide answers to the following questions:

What we are going to buy? What shall and will we eat? The Future Food District sees itself as an experiment and want to represent a possible future of retail. For this – among other things – visitors will have the possibility to shop in the supermarket of the future, expericnecing a completety new shopping experience.
